dymalux or webbwood dowels for striker?
« on: May 01, 2017, 08:42:52 PM »
I searched the forums and couldn't find any recent posts about this.  Anybody have experience with either? Looking for some opinions. Would like to order but not sure which one to go with. Thanks

I'm leaning towards the webbwood because some of their dowels already come in 5/16" diameter

Rob, if you want an excellent material guaranteed, buy what Brookside is calling dymondwood. Go under the rounded dowels. There will be about 4 color choices called dymondwood. They work great. I have not found out what they actually are yet.  They have to be dymalux or Webbwood. If Webbwood, which hardness??

Yes sir. I am starting to think this material may beat all for my liking to line out a basic user. Purpleheart has been my go to for that for several years now with original dymondwood as a second.

Good deal man. I will money back guarantee them. If you don't like them, send them to me for a refund. :)
