First good insert
« on: April 27, 2017, 01:54:54 PM »
I was working on my third inset today and I couldn't really get a good sound. I worked on for another half an hour and I had the high end I wanted but the low end wasn't great and tone needed to be deeper. I found the sweet spot on my tone board and took it down a little bit at a time until I was finally able to produce a good sound.
It's definitely true that everything you do to the insert changes everything about the sound. Now i just have to be able to do it again on the rest of my inserts.

Good Job!  Always a booger to get that first one to sound like you want it to.
