Billy Hays developed a tool a few years ago that crimps the edges of the band onto the barrel as the barrel rotates on the lathe. There's a few folks that have some of the original tools, but Billy quit having them made because it was so expensive to make. I bought the rights to make the tool a couple of years ago, and am slowly trying to get the tool back into a production state at a much better price point. It's been a slow process as I just have too many irons in the fire right now. The prints are being updated now, and I'm still planning on getting a product back on the market.
You won't get money rich in this hobby.  The richness is in the culture, the craft, the friends you meet along the way, and being able to call in a wary game animal with a call that you made with your own hands.

Sup Tobin!! I am sure if you can get some dimensions on your bands we can build a tool to do what you are needing.. May not be like a ringer tool but I have an idea on it..
