worked on a call
« on: February 12, 2017, 12:17:54 PM »
Ever worked on a call seems like 5 hours, after roughing it out, sanding threw all the grits of paper, finishing it with at least 5 coats of finish. finally gluing it all together, then wait again another day just for the call to sound like POOP.

I know the feeling my friend.. I have had a run of bad luck at making one that sounds like a turkey.. I have made 3 in the last week using the same measurements I always do and they all rattle instead of making any kind of turkey sound  :down1:

I finally made some calls that sounded great, then got some new wood. and it seems like all those measurement are no good any longer.
