Plain, but special black walnut

[Pure Hunting Custom Game Calls]

I know this just looks like regular ole black walnut, but to me it's kind of special.  This wood came from my grandparents farm, who have both passed, after lightening struck the tree.  It was 42" in diameter and it took a while for me and my father to cut it up.  I saved some, but couldn't save it all.  Trust me when I say I have enough to last a while.  This call is headed to a great guy I met this year duck hunting in Arkansas, kind of a thank you.  Thanks for looking and as always comments welcome good or bad.

My dad doesn't hunt, but I did make him a pen.  I just wish I had enough time to cut all the blanks out, I probably have an entire truck bed full.  The closer I got to the bottom the more wild the grain got.  Should be real pretty.
