Pot WIth Logo
« on: December 08, 2016, 01:53:55 AM »
On my pot calls that I put my logo in. Is it better to put my logo on the sound board or cut the vinyl in mirror image and put it on the underside of the scratch plate? I don't know for sure if it makes a difference.

This is one that I did earlier. It's on the sound board.

Thanks,
JP

I've always seen then on the soundboard.
Nice call!

I have done them both ways. I prefer them on the sound board.

I have never seen it make a bit of difference, I have done them both ways and still get good sounds....

I have noticed that when using a blasted crystal or glass (something not transparent) the logo is visible if placed on the back side of the playing surface where it gets lost on the soundboard.

If you are just using clear glass or crystal and letting the customer pick the playing spots, or for decoration, memorial style calls that wont be hunted with, then the playing surface looks better.

I do it myself. I own a vinyl cutting business. I cut the logo in vinyl then place it on the soundboard.

It is. It's still under construction right now. But it's mine.
