How to attach a picture
« on: December 01, 2016, 10:44:53 PM »
Hey guys, I have had a friend recently ask if I could put a picture under the crystal surface I am getting ready to make him. I have seen this done, but its not something I have done before. Does anyone  know where I could find good information on how to best go about doing that? Thanks

Most guys print with a laser ink jet printer on to sticky back Avery paper. Or have them made. Or you can get some sort of thicker/ink jet picture paper and then modge podge or glue the picture to the glass.

With all the moisture potential for a turkey call to see, I have always been concerned with adding paper, as it is easy to collect moisture out of the humid spring air.

(I call display turkey pot calls that are never meant for the woods: drink coasters)  ;)

I print the pic and cut it to size of sound board. Then have it laminated. Cut off the extra laminate material and glue down with goop.
