« on: August 15, 2016, 10:51:31 PM »
I am a Teacher and spend most of my summer making Duck and Goose calls. Today I ran out of bands and decided to make a tutorial.

Thanks for putting this together and sharing.  I like seeing how other guys make calls.  Lets me compare to my methods.  Seems like I always see something that makes me say "why didn't I think of that!"

Thanks again.

I agree with James.... The elevated file with sand paper is a great idea....  I like to see how others make their calls.   Thanks for sharing!   :gitrdone:

Great tutorial for a beginning call maker!  One question I've got...  Is there a reason you make the insert in two separate pieces?  Couldn't a guy drill the insert, put it in the jig to cut the toneboard, and then put on a 1/2" expanding mandrel to shape the bottom of the insert?

I'm far from trying to do my own inserts, just trying to learn different processes.

Thanks!
