Have tried for a couple days to get a good photo of what this call looks like and will actually show the grain and coloration in the wood, but apparently my small scale photography skills stink.
I'm pretty happy with this one, but there are just enough small issues with it that it will have to go on my lanyard rather than someone else's.
I bought this stock of claro walnut many years ago and have only a few pieces left. Bois d'Arc endcaps with Padauk inlaid in between. I think next time, I'll put some brass in between the layers to highlight it more. The Padauk is really a bright red in reality, and in the photos it just blends into the walnut.
