Walnut and Holly inlays

Finished the 2 calls made from walnut with holly inlays but with and end cap on the stopper end of the barrel from hard maple.

Do not have any process pictures, but what I did was to use a jig that fits above the piece on the lathe that accepts a router and used a 45 degree router bit along with the index fixture on the lathe to get them spaced and the depth of the cut determines how long and wide the inlay is.
