I've been gone for some time, and many of you who attempted to help me in the past are probably dreading reading this if your remember me
,but I've been working on my technique for a long time. I haven't been making duck calls for some time now, but I decided to go ahead make one yesterday. Just came over me.
If I remember right, this is a Louisiana style call (check me on that)
3/4" barrel bore. 1/2" exhaust bore.
Used a 1/2" acrylic dowel as the tone board. Cork stopper. Single reed.
Cocobolo call. It was made from two different pieces of wood, so the exhaust is darker than the barrel...
Full CA finish.
Compared to what I was making, I'm pretty proud of this one.
Let me know what you think. Feel free to tear it apart
