Bandsaw
« on: April 24, 2016, 08:22:33 PM »
My bandsaw just died. I got it used years ago and it served me well. I would like to be able to saw bigger pieces into call blanks. I am curious what everyone thinks I should upgrade to?

I am no expert, and it is the only saw I've owned, but I have the Rikon 10-325. I have no complaints, and for me it seemed to be the best mix of features, capacity, and value. I've also heard very good things about their customer service, although I haven't had to use them. Good luck!

Look at Grizzly. I have an 18" and would recommend a 14 inch unless you really want to saw stumps.

Reelfoot, the original duck call. What's on your lanyard?

I have a Rikon 14", too.  Solid machine.
