St. Charles glue-a-thon..
« on: February 28, 2016, 07:16:49 AM »
Howdy gang!
My glue-a-thon of my St. Charles entry continues, so here are some teaser pictures..  :up1:

Into the drum sander with all my glued up rings.  Nail biter every time I do this, but they came out perfectly leveled.

Getting there...

My test pieces and rejects.  This pattern is so complicated that I am catching many mistakes and I go along.   :stickman1:  Shooting for perfection has it's downfalls, but so far it is looking sweet...

All the Best!
Doug

Looking good Doug I can't wait to see the end result. Hopefully I'll get to see your work in person this year.

All those tiny pieces with little tolerance - I bet you're going to end up cross eyed.

Oh Doug!  No chicken grease on your fingers while working on those layups my friend!
