« on: December 23, 2015, 09:14:59 PM »
Anyone made a gray fox-gray fox pup distress call? Ive tried a few different reeds and done both mouth blown and used a large bellow and just cant seem to get a good sound. looking for a sound kind of Like the old Johnny stewart fox pup sound and foxpros platinum gray fox type of sounds. This is funny.  I recently had a fella ask me about making him this same call.  I told him this same thing.  I have been pecking at this for a few years as a maker and a few years longer as a caller.  I feel I am only slightly farther along than when I started.  Best I have seen is on a diaphragm mouth call.
