Quick question
« on: October 25, 2015, 01:39:48 PM »
I have been making duck calls for a few years and really want to turn a grunt for myself .  I want to make a all wood call but the question I have is , where do I get the guts ? Can I make it out of duck call supplies or do I have to buy them ? Is it possible to make a tone board and reed set ? Any advice is appreciated thanks in advance

Someone smarter than me will likely chime in soon with other options but I buy my guts from the THO store. You can get them with or w/o the plastic tube.

Al has a nice set of deer grunt guts on here.  As far as making your own tone board and wedge I'd say go for it.

Al carries the stuff you want... They sound great, and are not hard to use.

If you want, you can make your own. It's not that hard. :)
