A couple of flutes...

Hi gang! 

A couple of recent flutes.  The first one is plain hedge for a customer.  Sounds awesome!



Some blocks of wood are so pretty, I  just can't cut them up and laminate them.  English walnut with heartwood, and Macasar ebony endcaps.

i didnt know walnut could look so good . i think thats the first flute of yours ive seen with no burnt lines . you did a excellent job with the transition

Grain lines matched up perfectly on those calls.  Almost look like a solid piece of wood.  Love seeing your calls!

Yep, pure hand rubbed tung oil with a wax finish over that.  Thanks!
