had one of those days in the shop yesterday when it seems like you would get more done if you turned the lathe off...but I was able to finish this call, I hate to see it leave.... :hysterical:

one thing for sure, I've got to get a different photo set up......I have a black cloth I have always used to take my pictures on...but it is just not cutting it anymore, especially when you get darker woods in the midst.....I have considered going with a white cloth, or a grey cloth.....

I could be wrong , but my guess is it is the same...similar to when people call cherry wood "wild cherry" , same thing, different name.......again, just my guess

Probly.  The Alaskan yellow cedar is the cocobola of salt water lures.   Thanks.  Still learning !
