I've Been using goop as adhesive on my squirrel bellows and I'm just not satisfied with it's holding strength on my call tenon. Any recommendations? Epoxy maybe?

a lot of guys will cut a tenon with a receiving groove for the rim of the bellow, place the bellow on the tenon, lift it up and then put a dab of CA on there....

I do cut a groove for the inner rim of the bellows. I guess I should just try epoxy and see if it holds.

make your tennon bigger with a slight dove tail . you really shouldnt need adhesive . i make my tennon 13/16 at the top where it meets the rest of the call then 3/8 down the diamiter should be 15/16 then a 1/8 heavey grove to accept the rim in the bellow then after the grove the diamiter is
1 1/16th . these dimensions are what i use for large bellows . hope you can understand what i was trying to put into words . ill try to post a picture of my tennon after work. i tested this tennon by giving the call to a 4 year old and after running around for a half an hour it came back in one piece

I don't use any adhesive either. I make everything tight so it stays in place on its own. Those bellows will stretch quite a bit.

Ryan, I believe I am doing what you are talking about and have had only two problems. I knew one call wasn't going g to make it before the kid walked off. Straight up red headed tornado on two two legs. Love to see your pic!
