« on: September 15, 2015, 10:51:35 AM »
Not sure I am asking in the right place here.  Has anyone turned and Hawaiian Mango or Milo?  I fell face forward i buying more wood, even though I have no more storage space.

Milo turns real nice.  Has a citrus smell when turning.  Makes great sounding pots and strikers.

Thanks Scott for your reply.  I received some in the mail yesterday, its heavy, has great color and is heavy with a dense closed grain.  It is also known as another tonal wood, which you state so I am happy.  On the other hand i would think Mango would be a good wood to use for game calls.  I never found a bad fruitwood to use.
