Does anyone know of a good set of small wood files for detailed work?

Nope, but you might try the Lee Valley/Veritas website.  I remember seeing all sorts of little files in their catalog.  Their catalog is woodworking porn anyhow.

I did check the Woodcraft Rifler files ... they seem to have a decent rating I will probably go with them, thanks all.

Order the Lee Valley catalog anyway.  You will find something you can't live without, and it is tool porn!
