I've been trying my hand at turning a few pens.  (Left to right):

Elk, Pere David Antler, Cow horn, 2 Whitetail.

I might try carving one down the road.  Maybe a small buck?  There's not a whole lot of antler left if you turn the barrel down to a comfortable level.  Run the risk of cutting into the brass tube.

The second one from the left looks like it has a buck on it! It's just the color of the antler though.  Am I the only one that see's that?

Scrimshaw maybe?  I saw one of with a Native American feather theme a number of years ago and saved the image.  Haven't tried it yet.
