Hey everyone.. I have not posted here in a long while, although I do lurk almost daily. Between making calls and summer fun, I have taken what I have learned from this forum and decided to try my hand at making a Pipe.
Here are the results.
Black Acrylic and Chico Zapote
All roughed out and the basic shape... I was inspired by the low ball bourbon glass I had near my workbench I guess. Thin band - next time a little thicker.
Some stem and shank work still needs to be done.
Getting there... in retrospect I should have chosen a softer wood for my first pipe Zapote is pretty hard.
Just some more sanding and some finishing and I'm set. Any good super small wood files anyone can point me too? I may have to break down and get a Dremel as well.
