Regular spring lanyards

(1/1)

Mike Perkins:
Does anyone know where you can get the crimp piece and springs for the regular lanyards like Al sells for $1.something.

VECtor Calls:
Looking back at my notes, I looked into this in 2010. My biggest complication was trying to find the crimper. ID Superstore, at that time, had the crimps. I really wanted to use some of the nicer 550 paracord in the camo's to send out the door with my grunters. Know what stopped me?!  Finding out some of the dumb stuff hunters were doing with the stock lanyards I was already sending out. I figured I did not need to put 550 cord around their neck 20 feet up in a tree.

Do you include an installed lanyard with your calls now that you've had your "enlightenment" with that potential risk?

Happy turning
Tom

VECtor Calls:
The regular ones Al sells, yes. I won't put 550 cord around a deer hunter's neck though.

Jon @ JRwoods:
Never thought of that before.   Almost need a breakaway link like most I.D. badge lanyards.  Always had to wear something similar in every plant I worked in.  To many lawsuits from folks getting yanked into lathes, drills, and Mills.  OSHA standard now.
