My father retires tomorrow, and we had a retirement party for him today. I asked him if he has signed his retirement papers yet, and he told me he hasn't yet. So I handed him a nice pen I made for him, and I told him he needed a fancy pen to do that job.
Dumbo ivory cigar style pen is what I gifted him. And since I was in the pen making mood, I also made one for myself out of East Indian rosewood.
And he did use that pen to sign the papers this afternoon.
These pens were a nice break from turning calls.
