Some recent Speck Calls out of the Shop

Wanted to share a few recent calls that I have been working on.

First up is a call for Riceland Custom Calls owner, Bill Daniels.  Bill is highly regarded as one of the best custom Speck call makers in all of the country.  I recently met him at a Youth Calling Workshop sponsored by my local Delta Waterfowl chapter.  We got to talking shop, and he requested a Call Maker's Choice.  Here's what I came up with: Dyed Box Elder Burl with ABW thins and YCB end caps.  I hope that he likes it.





   
I made this LSU Football Themed Speck call for Kent Eason.  Kent has been instrumental in my call making progression.  I stop by his shop now everytime I'm in the Shreveport area for work.  He has welcomed and tutored me, and for that I am very appreciative.





 

Lastly, we go to alot of LSU baseball games and my daughter has become quite fond of a player that comes to talk to her before and after every game that we have been able to attend.  They have grown to be quite good friends throughout this season, and she asked me to make him a call to give to him.  Here's what I came up with.

As an LSU Fan in Razorback country, I'm a huge fan of the Tiger calls! Good work Lance!
