This is my goose flute glue-a-thon for 2015, unless I get a wild hair and do another... I made them to the best of my ability, and they came out better than expected. All exhibition grade wood...
The blow like a short reed using both hands to get the most out of them.
Fiddle-back Sapelle, Claro walnut burl, and Bloodwood.
Claro walnut burl and Bloodwood.
Big leaf maple burl, with English walnut and Bloodwood.
Pink Ivory, with hedge accents. This call is heavy, 7.6 ounces, and just amazes me at the sound it makes. Outstanding tone wood, and very pink..
Birdseye maple, English Walnut, and Bloodwood.
It was a fun time making these up. Each one has up to three hours of sanding and finishing. I consider these hunting calls, as I can always re-finish them in the future, and they look good on a lanyard. Goose killing tools that are pleasant on they eyes.....
All The Best!
