One of a kind scratcher
« on: January 20, 2009, 06:42:00 PM »
This is a lil call we built from some cutoffs we had left over from some box call orders. The box is Gabon Ebony with Snakewood endblocks and Holly Inlay. The base and back are also Holly. We made two strikers to go with it.  One is checkered like the box, and is made from Holly with Snakewood endcaps, and Ebony inlays. The other is Holly with Snakewood over top. Needless to say I didn't end up with this one!! There's a Greedy person in the shop who always gets the one of a kind calls!! ::)

I have to agree that it is an EXCELLENT looking call.  I can't blame anyone for wanting to take that home.

Very nice work indeed. Next to the wingbone the pocket scratch call is favorite and those of yours would be a pleasant sight to admire while afield awaiting for some action.
