Wow....Appreciate the compliments guys...its an honor to even compete with the quality of the calls that are entered in this event. I'm always amazed with the talents that are on display.
I encourage everyone to try your hand at decorative style calls it can be very rewarding.
Don't limit yourself by saying "I could never do that" You'll never know until you try. Maybe carving isn't your thing, so trying checkering, laminating or what ever, you just might find something you really enjoy?
