Al, there is a ceramic call made by MAD, Hs and Primos, I think thats what he's trying to do. It's pantented blend, it's not really ceramic like your bathroom tiles.  That stuff doesn't work well for calls.  Even if you find their suppliers I doubt they would sell any.

They will not sell you any.  Seriously......unfortunately, this is a lost-cause venture.  A couple years ago, I said, "No, I will make this happen."  Well......I'm telling you......its not going to happen.   :-\

Not trying to be negative, just trying to save you some time.

Poor Valley may be able to shed some light on some more specifics to this.  There's a guy that has the patent on ceramic bisque for use in turkey calls, and you can buy in to it, but I know Poor Valley tested some, and did not like them at all compared to slate and glass.

Parker is Jims patent running out soon. I think they are only good for 7 years.

I don't know.  He may re-up it.  From everything I've read, he thinks its the best thing since sliced bread.  I have yet to see a photo of one anywhere though.

My experience has just been from talking with call makers that have tried it, and not seen that it is above and beyond what slate or glass can do.

I would LOVE to have the ability to get ahold of some of the stuff that Primos and K&H use, but I don't think they're ever going to give that up.

Let me check on this, but I believe it is made by the tape place in town here.  I have a few conections I can try. I did some plumbing work on one of the higher ups "cabins" last year. He might be able to tell me more.

Well, if you can do something to get ahold of 5 or 10 peices, I wouldn't try to sell them, I'd just drop them in pots and give them to friends.
