Colorwood Open reeds
« on: March 28, 2015, 10:46:56 PM »
I stopped at rockler today and they had some of this color wood on sale.  I scooped a couple peices and turned out some calls tonight.  It was my first go around turning colorwood (or whatever this stuff is).  The one on the left is a little Krusty Kriers special double reed.

Check the predator hunting section. :D Sadly didn't get it using your call, but I used it afterwards and it sounds great!

Very nice. I don't believe I've ever seen one with the lines horizontal.
