Thanks everybody! :) I will be honest, those pics don't even come close to the calls I have at home or that I have made.I just finished up 18 red cedar calls this weekend.I have ALOT more blanks drilled and are waiting on me to turn.Out of the 18 they are half mallard calls and the others are wood duck calls.I made them in matched sets with red cedar boards with two dows to stand the calls on.Inbetween the calls I put one of my business cards with a piece of plexi glass over it and put four brass nails (small stove head kind) on the corners. The boards are urethaned up of course and now I am starting on the calls. They look awesome and sound really good too.I also just finished another carved duck head and starting on another. And have turned numerous other types(cocobolo, hedge, bocote and dymondwood just to name a few) in the last few weeks for some orders I had.yeah,I have been busy but I am loving every minute of it ;D.
Ya'll take care ok.

Maybe a little (shown off) ;) ;D  nah really I just enjoy the heck out of making them.I love to turn a piece of wood into a work of art.And it makes me feel really good knowing I can do this kind of thing.I just got my computer back from the shop today. When I get it all back up and running I will show you ALOT more pictures.I have some that are laminated (dogwood and bocote, cocobolo and elk antler for example) and a bunch of others.I use elk antler, stainless, brass copper and aluminum for bands and have a few with wood bands on em too.Have a few carved calls, which are shaped like duck heads that have turned out ok.I just like trying different stuff to see how it turns out. Then to be considered as part of the great group of people (like everyone here ;) ) that have such super talents makes it even better!!Ok enough rambling, glad you all like the pics :).Take care everybody.
