Some calls so far
« on: October 24, 2014, 09:30:43 AM »
So I still cant get the insert pics to load for my post about the insert but here are some of the calls I have made over the past few weeks.  Just getting my feet wet into making calls and learning something new every time I get out to the garage (between my job and wife its tough to get out there sometimes haha!).  Stumbled across this site about a week ago but it already is very helpful.  Any criticism will be taken as constructive as I am just getting going!

I'm not able to view the pictures. Once you upload your photos go to your album. Move your mouse over the photo, there should be a little symbol on the top right of the picture. Click on that, you will get a popup that has a bunch of links on it, click on the IMG one, then paste it into your post on here. That's how I do it, it may be different though because Photobucket just changed all their stuff again.

Try this http://www.thogamecalls.com/PDF%20Tutorials/Usng%20Photobucket%20to%20Post%20Photos.pdf Photobucket doesn't look like this anymore but it will still explain how.......

Nothing wrong with those that I can see.  Awesome start, buddy!  Wish mine looked that good when I first got started.  I'm not sure my first few even resembled duck calls... much less sounded like one!  LOL

Yeah what material is that? I get a lot of positive reviews by using the "ghost trails" material.

Thanks!  Material is poly resin from pintail and also the blanks from bear tooth woods.  The top right one blue and red was the first one I tried casting myself.  Got a good deal at michaels so thought I would give it a shot.

That's really cool. Looks like it turned out really good.
I'd like to get into that part eventually.

Nice Work.....You off and running for sure.
