Burnt hedge grunters
« on: September 09, 2014, 05:00:46 AM »
Been wanting to do these for awhile and have had several customers ask me if I made grunt calls so I decided to do a "limited run" 20 total #'d 1-20 and signed  for the year 2014. I hadn't made any grunters for the year and mostly want to focus on duck calls but still wanted to offer grunters because there what I learned on far as barrel style calls. Took me about 22 hrs total to make all 20 over 4 days. Anyway burnt hedge with just a simple design with SS bands oil soak finish and buffed.

Those are beauties! I think you should make a #21 and keep it for yourself this year.   :whistling:

Saw these on Facebook earlier.  You've done a good job with them and I like the idea of going with a limited run.  Bet you felt like an assembly line worker turning out that many duplicate calls!
