Pressure Pot Casting Research
« on: October 04, 2014, 12:56:24 AM »
I'm new to casting and really enjoy it. I want to get a pressure pot and create my own mixed resin/wood blanks. Would I looking at a pressure pot to do this or a vacuum chamber? Also once I get the necessary tools for this where do I find pieces of wood with voids and deformations that i could cut down to use in my mold? I appreciate any help or direction you guys can point me to.

Save yourself  lot of time and trouble, go to the International Association of Penturners forum and READ the casting forum.  The penturners were casting way before the callmakers ever heard of resin casting.  They have it down to a perfected science.  Don't forget to take notes, GOOD NOTES.
