Chartruese Acrylic
« on: September 15, 2014, 08:59:10 PM »
So I've been obsessed with turning some of this lately. I'm not sure why, just think it would be really cool. Does anyone know where I can find any?

Didn't the chartreuse color get discontinued?

Cast acrylic rod

I've tried. Everything I can find comes out of poly 1 and they're all the same colors.

6481

Crap I just ordered some stuff from there.
Will the material come out like this or will it be more transparent? (I know it doesn't say transparent, just want to make sure I'm getting what I want)

No...infact, that is NOT acrylic from Poly One.  They make no solid color that looks like that.  ALL fluorescence are transparent.

I appreciate the help Stump. I think I have found a source and depending on cost, may pick some up. I didn't realize it would be such a task to get true chartreuse.

better make sure you know what you are getting if you decide not to use the real acrylic.  Some of the other materials on the market are severely lacking in the durability department.
