First Call worthy for Forum Review
« on: August 23, 2014, 10:17:02 PM »
First Picture of a Call that I believe is worthy of being viewed by y'all.

Thanks to this site, I've gone from 0-90mph with this hobby.  Special thanks to John Davenport (Davenport Custom Calls) and Ron Gould (I've bothered the hell out of him) for assisting me in my short journey.  I've had to step up my game relatively quickly and take a steep learning curve to put out something worthy enough to sell to customers that is truly unique.  This place is a wealth of knowledge and I have read just about every post that I could over the past 2 months.  I've learned more about wood, and glue, and techniques and "duckiness" than I ever thought that I could have.

Anyways.....Stabilized and Dyed Buckeye Burl with Axis Deer Antler Accent piece capped with African Blackwood mouthpiece.  Currently using Echo Inserts (I know, I know), until I get the process down to make my own toneboards.

Critiques are welcomed and very much appreciated.

Lookin Good.... :punk:
Of all the things I've lost while call making...its my mind I miss the most.
