Yellowheart finish??
« on: August 21, 2014, 05:05:05 PM »
I've hit the search button so many times my fingers hurt.  I can't find any info on yellowheart pot finishes.   I'm curious as to what you guys use to finish yellowheart pots.  Tru Oil?  Velvit Oil? Spar?

Yellowheart is a non oily wood and takes a finish really well. You can use any type varnish. I always reccomend using Bullseye Universal Sanding Sealer the put any finish over it you want except a oil type finish. Oil type finish apply directly to the wood.
