"Old Line" Traditional Style
« on: August 01, 2014, 01:53:34 PM »
This is what I like to call "Old Line". Its our take on a Traditional Style Duck Call. This was a combined effort between me and my nephew Eric. Ebony and Honduran Rosewood Burl with silver solder inlay single reed duck calls. The logo was filled and intentionally rubbed off some before the finish went on. Not sure if I should have done that but it's done now, I like it but not sure if some will think that it wasn't filled properly. Oh well. Both of these calls were finished with the Massey Finish again. Enjoy.

Beautiful calls. Could have been mistaken for a Reelfoot!

Reelfoot, the original duck call. What's on your lanyard?

Thanks Fred. No ReelFoot talent here at all, but ya it does resemble that style but I'm sure smaller in size. I'm sure that's why when we think of a traditional style the ReelFoot style is usually the first that comes to my mind anyway.
