Wedding gift

Here's a Bocote Ice Cream Scoop I just finished for a wedding gift.  It will be accompanied by syrups, toppings, nuts, a $10 bill for a tub of their favorite ice cream and two sundae bowls.   Nothing like starting off married life with a bowl of goodness!

I like it!  What finish did you use on the bocote?

CA.  I always include a note to' hand wash only' with these gifts.  Also to keep it clear of any acetone based liquids (I.E. fingernail polish remover) as it will destroy the finish.

I gave four ice cream 'kits' away for Christmas a couple of years ago to family.  Ironically, I have never been invited over for a sundae.
