Kentucky call trade calls
« on: July 24, 2014, 01:21:36 AM »
Here's the photos I had done prior to the trade. Mac's was a stabilized black ash burl call with an african blackwood insert, single reed, CA finish, and brass pinned band. Andrew's was a stabilized amboyna burl barrel and insert sleeved in gabon ebony, single reed, CA finish and a brass pinned band. As soon as I get to Virginia, I'll post up some better pics of Andrew and Mac's calls they gave me. Beautiful calls and top notch craftsmanship. Another set of calls that will NEVER leave my collection.

You are both more than welcome! Look forward to seeing more of your work. And thank you both again for your calls. They both mean a lot to me.

Thanks Henry! I didn't wear my Sperry's or plaid. Wasn't quite sure how these Kentucky boys roll so I played it safe. Mac didn't hold back from the plaid though.

That's good stuff there Tyson. Once you get settled in VA and need some turning time I'm sure some one would let you join them in their shop. You have an open invite to mine if you don't mind the drive.
