Maple Reelfoot

Here is another Maple Reelfoot in a modified "Oscar Quam" style. Insert is "Diamond Wood" with a buffalo horn wedge (not shown).  Enjoy.

No secrets Scott. Just my milling machine and a very cheap dividing head.  Ben has a more conventional way (with wood working tools) to make the barrels that he shared in this tutorial:
http://thogamecallsforums.com/index.php/topic,13242.0.html

I use the mill because most of my shop tools were assembled to do metal work (custom knives) and that is what I have.

Always glad to answer detailed questions.

Gorgeous as always.  I just want to blow on a reelfoot someday, let alone make one like that
