That is an sweet looking call...  :bigup: how exactly do you chuck one of these up to te lathe? I like how you have kept the "live edge" on the antler base, but i havent figured out how to chuck it up and keep the look you have acheived here ... :huh:

Me as for tuning I hand  drill from both ends turn between centers use leather gloves bits catch and antler tears hands up lol, but the burr end antler I start with 1/4 bit bring tail stock up turn the at base I  use a rasp bit chuck it in drill press and do the end by hand ,, and yes its nice using shed you can leave antler base on ,,,,cut offs not so much
