Stabilized Curly Maple Call

have been waiting for a while to turn the last piece of stabilized curly maple.  I meant to have either a stabilized birdseye or curly maple call on my lanyard this past year but ended up selling the ones I had made up instead.  Well it was time to make one for me to go on my lanyard this next year.  I love the tone that a maple call produces.

That's just gorgeous Jamie.  Man I love curly maple and you sure did this piece justice.  Blows my mind, but I sure do have a hard time getting anybody to buy curly maple calls.  The figure just dances in the sunlight.

Wow!  I really like the look of that call.  It's a simple but very clean design.

There is just something about the look and sound of a domestic wood call.  Using and hearing one makes me feel like I'm sharing the blind with the generations of old!
