The Many Faces of Maple
« on: January 29, 2014, 05:15:34 PM »
Here are a couple of recent maple Reelfoot calls. The natural finish call has a stabilized walnut insert and the stained call has a cocobolo insert with buffalo horn wedge. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful, Fred!

BTW, I have 4 very large chunks of big leaf maple headed my way right now... some burly, some curly, and some a unique red figure. Finalist rejects from a guitar maker (via a WB friend).  More than I'll use in a long while, so if you (or anyone else) are looking for more maple, just shoot me a pm.

I really like both a TON, but I am in LOVE with the dark one! That horn compliments perfectly with the woods. :up1: The finish and color looks like a fine musket stock  If you decide you don't like it just let me know  ::) ~Andre'
