I have been casting blanks for about a month now and I am really getting the hang of it, alumalite is just to expensive for me and I don't have a vacuum chamber. Here are some calls I did with my blanks.

Micheal,
What did you use to get the air bubbles out of your resin? I still have a problem every now and then getting them out.

I just let it sit, I have never had any problems with air bubbles.

I never use a vacuum chamber to get air bubbles out.  All you need is a pressure pot. I have 2 of them I got from he as long as you keep the pressure below 60 psi you won't have problems with the pot.  But it will get rid of any air bubbles.   The other key factor is pouring at the right moment.   If you pour to early the colors blend together pour to late and it starts gelling and will not mix at all.
