I had a lady ask me to make her two calls for her husband. While making them I snapped photos with my telephone of each process starting with the original cut off the block of cocobolo. I sent them to her and she was going to print them out to give to him when she presented him the calls. She loved it!
I do the snake avoidance training for dogs. People come here all the time to have their dogs trained. They are already hunters so naturally the conversation turns to duck calls. Well I invite them into the quack-house and show them my calls. One guy bought three and another bought one, called a little while ago and bought two more. Apparently when I sent him a photograph of his barrel as I was making it, he was teal hunting and showed his buddies. They asked him to order two more.
I like the picture thing. Apparently so do the customers.
