Wow, very pretty! :bow: I think that skip-line is killer and different from the majority. Is this insert an arkansas? I assume you checkered the barrel AFTER finishing it? Impressive :bigup: ~Andre'

Nope this is the Reelfoot call section.  So it's a reelfoot.   Only way to do a CA finish as far as I know is before the checkering.

I thought it was a reelfoot by its shape,size,etc. but I couldn't see the wedge so I was just making sure. ~Andre'

That's a beautifully classic call you made.

So, I'm not really up on all the checking techniques and jargon, do they make "skipline tools" or do you just use a tool with a smaller LPI for the skips?
