"Rough Carved" Cherry Grunt call...
« on: August 08, 2013, 08:05:16 AM »
Here's a look at a Cherry grunt call I finished up last evening.  I had shortened up the length on this call, and needed to figure out a carving that would best fit the call.  Not much to look at starting out.  But a little paint does wonders..

Thanks for looking!

The vision you have in your head from starting to finishing is amazing.  I wouldn't even know where to start.

If I'm not arguing with you, then you are right.

Bill,

My grunt calls finish up between 1.45" to 1.490" when I intend to do a carving on them.  I like a little bit of extra material so I have more flexibility when I do the carving.  But actually in my estimation that size is ideal for my style of call.  They feel good in hand, and perform very nicely.
