Another Whatz It?
« on: December 08, 2008, 09:10:06 PM »
I had an order for a few of these and since part of it is turned and then it will be used by turners I figure this is a good place to show it off.  Is it a "whatz it"?

So what was this tool?  What was it used for?

It is a 6 year old pen press part, I had a non adjustable toggle clamp, that I used for the other end.  With this part I could easily adjust the correct depth to seat the pen parts in the tubes.  This press is now in New Mexico at another woodturners shop, my new press has an adjustable toggle clamp.
