Got my practice jig made
« on: June 28, 2013, 05:41:20 AM »
Finally has time to get my first trial jig made up. Hopefully get to try it out this week. Made it out of 4140 pre hard steel for now. Thanks to FDR for some good input on making my jig. Here she is.

Thanks
Levi

Looks real good Levi.  I usually stick a couple pieces of blue painters tape beside the insert and just bring the milling cutter down until I cut away the first layer of tape then cut the tone board. My milling cutter never touches the jig.
Keep us posted on progress.
